Amway Grand Hotel & Convention Center
Grand Rapids, MI
August 9-15, 2010
Day 1 - Fun Day - We went out into the city to meet people and complete a City Scavenger Hunt. We had do find points of interest throughout the area - rolling distance of course- we had to get citizen participation from locals. It was awesome.
Day 2 - First Day of Judging. Here I am in my summer suit. Judging sessions went really great today.
Murder Mystery Night/Hollywood Night
We had a Murder to Solve at Dinner and it was awesome. Poly Ester was the Murderer, I was on that team. Yay!
Everyone dressed in their Hollywood best that evening and a company came and did the Murder Mystery and It was a grand time.

The Crowning Gala
Alex MacArthur, Ms. Wheelchair North Carolina 2010 was crowned the 2011 Ms. Wheelchair America - Congrats!!
Day 3 - Motown Night. Everyone dressed either in a Motown Costume or something that sparkled. I SPARKLE in purple. We had great entertainment.
Day 5 - Speech Night
This was the most important night of judging. The platform speech was worth the most points. I delivered mine with no flaws and no stutters. I believe in my platform which is "Focus On Ability for a Positive Change". The wonderful woman in the photo with me is Mary, my sissy. She dropped everything and came to be at my side to help me get ready each day, lift me and uplift me. :) She is truly amazing. I love you Sissy!!!!
The Day of the Crowning - yayyyy!
Portrait time. Catherine got to squeeze in for a few Mommy and Daughter pictures. She is so precious and all the ladies loved meeting her.
A Mother's Love
Hoping that I win but praying that God's Will be done.
